Rotarians Diane and Louise display some of the snowsuits purchased and presented to the Agape Centre.

In Cornwall, we have a community centre called Agape.   It serves hundreds of needy people each day either by providing food baskets, clothes, furniture or a hot meal at lunch. Our Rotary club is involved in many ways wih this Centre by providing a hot meal once a month, donating money and time to prepare the Christmas baskets and other projects.

Again this year the Agape Centre, with the help of the community, purchased hundreds of snowsuits for children of our community who would not have warm winter clothing. Our Rotary club applied for a District Simplified Grant to help finance this project. When the snowsuits arrived Rotarians assisted in unloading the boxes and sorting the snowsuits by size, colour and if they were for young girls or boys
