PEER TO PEER NID EDUCATION
During October 2024 when Rotarian Peter Labelle visited Ghana, the NID (Neglect Tropical Diseases) Ambassadors group was formed. Peter. along with BUVA founder, Honourable Emmanuel Agumah, recognized the power of peer to peer education in changing the behaviors and attitudes of youth. The Ambassadors. This group is comprised of high school age young people who visit schools and youth organizations to educate their peers about the identification and treatment of various neglected tropical skin diseases.
