After Container #1 had been shipped, there were still a substantial number of hospital beds with crank mechanisms for raising and lowering patients. These are particularly valuable in regions that experience frequent electrical outages. There was also an assortment of  other equipment that would be very useful in  clinics or small hospitals  in rural communities. A plea went out across District 7040 and much appreciated contributions to help pay for shipping the second container came from a number of clubs and friends of Rotary.

On January 22, 2018 a group of  Rotarians from Gananoque, Kingston and Cornwall Sunrise gathered at Capital Movers & Storage, Kingston to load the second container.  We are very much in debted to Capital Movers and Storage for providing storage for this equipment and to all who assisted in a variety of other ways.
