Purple Pinkies Were Fun and Built Awareness for Earlyact
 
This year we took a broad-brush approach to building community awareness and raising funds to help end polio. All of the youth groups the club works with have conducted Purple Pinkie events at their respective schools.

Members of Rotarians families have actively supported members in sharing information and generating funds. 
 
 
On-going awareness has been built within the club by displaying a "polio jar" where members are encouraged to contribute loose change on a weekly basis as they stop at the registration table. 
Two club members along with their daughter and  two young grandsons participated in a NID in January..... the boys had explained why it it is important to eradicate polio as well as actively raising funds for polio eradication at their schools and within the community in preparation for this experience.
